Can an AI answer engine cite this page?
Enter a URL for a free, deterministic audit of the on-page foundations of AI citation. Same page in, same score out. You get the score, the weakest pillar to fix first, and where the page sits on the maturity ladder.
Weakest pillar. No entity links to resolve identity, and no outbound citations.
An actual result, not a mockup.
What the score reads
Three pillars, weighted. Each one maps to a question a model has to answer before it will repeat you.
Foundation
Citations consistency
Whether a model can resolve who you are and attribute the page to you. Structured data, a declared organization, and profile links that agree with each other. Mismatched names and bios cause hallucination, or silence.
Validation
Authority trust
Whether a model treats the page as safe to repeat. Named authorship, statistics that carry a source, and outbound citations to work that backs up the claims.
Ingestion
LLM surfacing
Whether the page can be read and lifted from. Question-shaped headings, answers that sit close to the question, a sane heading structure, and a crawler that is actually allowed in.
This measures on-page readiness. It is not a prediction that you will be cited: the largest lever is your third-party mention footprint, which no on-page audit can see. Every report says so, and names what it cannot measure.
The maturity ladder
Five rungs. The work is not to fix everything at once, it is to find the weakest pillar holding you at your current rung and unlock the next one.
- 1
Invisible
Models do not surface you at all.
- 2
Recognized
Your entity is known, but you are rarely cited.
This audit can see up to here - 3
Referenced
You appear in answers without being named explicitly. The first real breakthrough.
- 4
Authoritative
The shift from mentioned to safe to recommend.
- 5
Default Source
Category ownership. You are reached for first.
The three rungs above the line are earned off your own domain, through third-party mentions and live presence in AI answers. No on-page audit can measure them, and this one does not claim to.
